State of Kansas Holocaust Commemoration Service
The 2018 State of Kansas Holocaust Commemoration Service will be on Monday, April 9th, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Downtown Ramada Inn, 420 SE 6th Avenue, Topeka.
Keynote address: The story of Ethel and Harry Black, their finding love and fighting for survival during the Holocaust, presented by their granddaughter, Rachel Black.
Holocaust proclamation presented by Governor Jeff Coyler.
Participation by Kansas clergy, political leaders and students.
We will recognize Holocaust survivors, WWII veterans and children of survivors.
The Kansas State Holocaust Commission will host a reception following the service.
This event is free and open to the public.
