An event every week that begins at 9:30am on Saturday, repeating until March 2, 2019
Shabbat services begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at approximately noon. Almost every week, our service is followed by a Kiddush lunch in Asner Hall. You are welcome to join us for a delicious meal and good company, whether you are a member or just visiting!
We pattern our weekly Torah reading service after the triennial Torah reading cycle similar to the one used in ancient Israel during the rabbinic period. In this system, the traditional parashiot are each divided into three shorter segments, and the whole Torah is completed once every three years. Our worship is jointly led by the rabbinical staff and lay leadership. Congregants are encouraged to lead Torah and Haftorah, chant Musaf as well as be honored with aliyot. Once a month, we hold musical Shabbat morning services. We begin services at 10:00 a.m. and end at noon. Our service leaders lead a worship experience that blends traditional and contemporary elements. Read more about Shir L’Shabbat.
We look forward to seeing you!
