Veteran journalists Anna Jaffe and Mike Horine will share their experiences covering many of the major news stories of our time from Ferguson to the 2016 Presidential election. The husband-wife team is part of a small contingent of independent journalists who work on a contract basis for national network news organizations. This role gives them a unique perspective on the current state of broadcast news and the ways technology and social media are affecting news coverage.

About Anna Jaffe & Mike Horine

Anna Jaffe and Mike Horine are co-founders of Curious Eye Productions, a company specializing in network news and sports coverage. Since Curious Eye launched in 2004, they’ve worked with a wide range of clients, including CBS News, NBC News, NBC News Channel, MSNBC, CNBC, PBS, FOX News, The Weather Channel, CNN, CNN International, HLN, C-Span, ABC News, Associated Press Television, Reuters, NFL Network, CBS Sports, ESPN and FOX Sports 1.

They are regular contributors to network news programs, including NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, ABC World News Tonight, CBS Sunday Morning, The Today Show, Good Morning America, 20/20 and 60 Minutes.

Anna and Mike started their careers in local news. Anna worked as a reporter and producer and Mike as a news photographer. They both have master’s degrees in journalism from the University of Kansas.
